NYSACAC Summer Institute
August 5th - August 8th, 2008
For over 20 years, NYSACAC has helped new (or nearly new) professionals to our field accelerate their knowledge through an intensive four day institute. The institute utilizes the experience and wisdom of mentors to drive the curriculum.
Attendees work in small groups led by mentors to review case studies in a mock admissions committee. In addition to the mentor group experiences, attendees are exposed to a variety of topics relevant to the profession including: Testing, Interviewing, Financial Aid, and Athletics.
Mentors and session leaders bring a wealth of experience to the institute. Representing both High Schools and Colleges from across the state, these professionals typically have established themselves as leaders within their respective disciplines.
